Gainesville Raceway Control Tower – Gainesville, FL
This 8,000 square foot, 3 story building required 70′ radius beams at the roof. With the utilization of a sloped glass curtain wall, we had to coordinate much of the support steel with multiple trades. Other features included galvanized steel planking on the stairs and landings. Completed in early 2008, this unique building offered quite a challenge to meet the owner’s tight schedule of completion while maintaining job site conditions that would allow for the owner to remain operational during construction.
